In Digimon World DS, your primary goal is to raise and train your Digimon partners to become stronger through battles and exploration. You'll navigate various areas of the Digital World, encountering wild Digimon to battle and recruit. Combat is turn-based, allowing you to select attacks, items, or special moves for your team of up to three Digimon. Successful battles earn experience points that help your Digimon level up and learn new abilities. Between battles, you'll manage your Digimon's needs at the farm, where you can feed them, train their stats, and evolve them into more powerful forms when conditions are met. Early on, focus on building a balanced team with different elemental strengths and weaknesses. As you progress, you'll need to strategically evolve your Digimon to access new areas and overcome tougher opponents. Pay attention to type matchups during battles and manage your resources carefully to ensure your Digimon remain healthy and ready for the next challenge.
