Killer Instinct Gold is a one-on-one fighting game where the objective is to deplete your opponent's health bar before they deplete yours. Each round begins with both fighters on opposite sides of the screen. You control your character's movement with the control stick and execute attacks using combinations of the A and B buttons for punches and kicks, along with directional inputs for special moves. The core gameplay revolves around building and breaking combos.
