Your goal is to guide Kirby through colorful levels to defeat King Dedede and restore the shattered Star Rod. You move with the D-pad, jump to avoid hazards, and press the attack button to inhale enemies. By swallowing certain foes, Kirby gains their ability, like Sword for melee attacks or Fire for shooting flames. Use these powers strategically to solve puzzles and defeat bosses. In the early game, experiment with different copy abilities to find your preferred playstyle. The middle sections often feature branching paths and mini-games for extra lives. During tense boss fights, learn attack patterns and use your most effective ability to win.
