In this grand strategy game, your objective is to unify ancient China by managing cities, recruiting historical generals, and defeating rival factions. The gameplay is split into an internal affairs phase and a tactical combat phase. During the internal affairs phase, search for new officers, manage resources, and equip your generals with weapons and steeds to prepare them for war. When battles commence, position your generals and troops on the battlefield. You command troops to advance, retreat, or hold positions while utilizing powerful general skills that consume mana. Winning battles requires matching your troop types against the enemy's weaknesses and timing your generals' devastating special moves to turn the tide of combat.
