Your objective is to guide Mega Man through a series of challenging action-platformer stages to defeat the villainous Dr. Wily. You run, jump, and shoot your way through levels filled with enemy robots and environmental hazards. The core gameplay loop involves mastering precise platforming, defeating enemies with your standard buster shot, and strategically using the special weapons you acquire from defeated Robot Masters. Each weapon is strong against a specific boss, so the order in which you tackle stages is a key strategic decision. In the early part of a run, focus on learning enemy patterns and mastering the basic jump-and-shoot mechanics. As you progress, use acquired weapons to exploit boss weaknesses and navigate tricky sections more easily. During tense moments, such as boss fights, careful dodging and well-timed shots are crucial for survival.
