You control Ninja Kun, a small ninja who must navigate through the Demon Castle to rescue the princess. You start with a limited supply of shurikens for attacking foes at a distance; use them wisely as they are finite. Collect power-ups that appear from defeated enemies or hidden blocks to gain abilities like temporary invincibility or a protective shield. The castle is structured as a multi-screen maze, so careful exploration and memorization of safe paths are key to progression. The core challenge is managing your shuriken count while navigating enemy patterns and environmental hazards. In tense moments, focus on evasion rather than confrontation if you are low on projectiles. The goal is to reach the end of each stage, defeat the boss, and advance deeper into the castle.
