The moment-to-moment gameplay involves moving left or right, jumping across platforms, and using your mutant's unique attack abilities to clear each area. As a beginner, focus on learning your character's special move, which is typically executed with a button combination, as it is essential for dealing with larger groups of foes and tougher enemies. The challenge rhythm is built around navigating environmental hazards, such as pits and traps, while managing enemy waves that increase in difficulty. Early in a run, concentrate on mastering basic movement and attack timing. In the middle stages, prioritize conserving health for boss fights by avoiding unnecessary damage. During tense moments, especially against bosses, learn their attack patterns and strike during their vulnerable phases to succeed.
