You control a martial arts master who must battle through side-scrolling stages filled with monsters and enemy fighters. Your primary method of attack is a variety of powerful kicks, which you can execute by pressing the attack button. As you defeat enemies, you will gain experience points that allow you to level up, unlocking new and more devastating kicking techniques. The core objective is to navigate each stage, defeat all enemies and bosses, and rescue the kidnapped princess. In the early part of a run, focus on defeating weaker enemies to build up your experience level and learn basic kicks. The middle stages require you to master the timing and range of your special moves to handle larger groups of foes. During tense moments, especially boss fights, you must carefully dodge attacks while looking for openings to land your most powerful kicks. Managing your magic points for special techniques is key to survival.
