Earthworm Jim is a fast-paced run-and-gun platformer where you control the super-powered worm through various surreal levels. Your primary weapon is Jim's Plasma Blaster, which can be aimed in eight directions. You'll need to jump, swing from hooks using Jim's head as a whip, and navigate treacherous platforming sections while battling quirky enemies like Evil Cows and Chuckles the Evil Clown. Each level contains secret areas and collectible health upgrades to help you survive the challenging boss battles. The game requires precise timing and quick reflexes, especially during the underwater and zero-gravity sections where physics change dramatically. Focus on mastering the whip swing mechanic early, as it's essential for reaching high platforms and avoiding hazards.
