Sonic Wings 3 is a fast-paced vertical shooter where your goal is to survive through multiple stages, defeat mid-bosses and end-level bosses, and achieve a high score. You control an aircraft that continuously fires a main weapon and can collect power-up items to increase its firepower. Each character has a unique screen-clearing bomb activated with a separate button, which is essential for escaping tight situations. Early in a run, focus on collecting the P icons to raise your shot power to maximum, and avoid unnecessary risks. The middle stages introduce more complex enemy patterns and environmental hazards, requiring careful positioning and memorization. During tense moments, especially boss fights, learn attack patterns, use bombs strategically to cancel bullets, and prioritize destroying threat sources quickly. Success depends on balancing aggression for points with survival.
