The core objective is to defeat your opponent's team of three fighters in one-on-one matches. You control one character at a time, using a combination of light and heavy punches and kicks to attack, block, and create openings. A key mechanic is the Striker system: by pressing a specific button, you can call in an assist character to perform a quick attack or create a distraction, which can extend combos or interrupt your opponent's pressure. Managing your power gauge is crucial; as you attack or take damage, it fills, allowing you to perform powerful Desperation Moves or enter a Max Mode for temporary enhanced abilities. In the early moments, focus on learning your character's basic moves and safe pokes. As the match progresses, use your Striker strategically to control space and create mix-up opportunities. During tense situations, a well-timed Super Move or a clever Striker call can turn the tide of battle.
