A fast-paced two-player arcade sports game featuring simplified volleyball gameplay with exaggerated jumps and powerful spikes.
Super Volley Ball is played from a side-view perspective where you control a team of two players on a single court. Your objective is to score points by making the ball land on the opponent's side of the net. You move your characters left and right and press a button to jump. Timing your jump is crucial, as you can hit the ball while airborne to perform a spike for a powerful, fast attack. The ball can be passed between your two players up to three times before it must be sent over the net. A successful block at the net can deflect a spike back at your opponents. The game is fast and requires quick reflexes to position your players and time your jumps for both offensive spikes and defensive blocks. Early on, focus on mastering the timing of your jumps for basic hits. As you progress, learn to anticipate the ball's trajectory and use quick passes to set up powerful spikes. In tense moments, a well-timed block can completely reverse the momentum of a rally.
