A useful beginner strategy is to master the guard and substitution jutsu to avoid enemy attacks, which is crucial for survival against tougher opponents. The challenge rhythm involves clearing areas of standard foes before facing a boss character, requiring you to learn their attack patterns. In the early part of a mission, focus on building your chakra by defeating weaker enemies. During the middle of a battle, use your ninjutsu to break an enemy's guard. In tense moments, such as a boss fight, carefully time your dodges and save your ultimate technique for when the boss is vulnerable to turn the tide of battle.
