A side-scrolling action game based on the 1987 film, where players control RoboCop to fight crime in Old Detroit.
You control RoboCop from a side-scrolling perspective, moving left and right to advance through levels filled with criminals. Your primary weapon is your Auto-9 pistol, which has unlimited ammunition but can overheat if fired too rapidly. Use the joystick to move and aim, and the fire button to shoot enemies. You can also punch enemies at close range for quick takedowns. Your main objective is to defeat all enemies in each stage and confront the boss at the end. Collect power-ups like extra lives, health restoratives, and temporary invincibility to aid your progress. In the early stages, focus on learning enemy patterns and conserving health by avoiding unnecessary damage. As you advance, prioritize eliminating ranged threats first and use cover when possible. During tense moments, such as boss fights, maintain distance and fire in controlled bursts to avoid overheating your weapon while dodging attacks.
