How to play
In Bust-A-Move 4, your goal is to clear the screen of bubbles by shooting bubbles from the bottom of the screen to create groups of three or more of the same color. You control a bubble launcher at the bottom, aiming with the directional pad and firing with a button. The key is to aim carefully to create chain reactions, as matching bubbles will pop and may cause connected bubbles of the same color to fall if they are no longer attached to the ceiling. Early on, focus on clearing bubbles from the sides to create gaps and prevent the bubble mass from descending too quickly. As the game progresses, watch for opportunities to use special bubbles and power-ups that can clear large sections or change bubble colors. In tense moments, prioritize stopping the advancing bubble mass by making quick matches near the top to buy time. The game ends if the bubbles reach the bottom line.
