How to play

Combat is turn-based, requiring you to select actions like attack, cast magic, use items, or defend for each party member. Unlike traditional RPGs, characters improve their attributes through direct action in battle rather than earning experience points. Taking physical damage increases maximum HP, casting spells raises magic proficiency, and attacking with specific weapons increases their skill level. To succeed, focus on repeatedly using specific weapons and magic to specialize your characters early in the run, and manage your inventory carefully to survive tough boss encounters.
