How to play
In Flow, you guide a simple aquatic organism using your mouse cursor, moving it around the aquatic environment to absorb colored particles and smaller organisms. Your primary goal is to grow and evolve by consuming everything in your path, which allows your creature to become larger and more complex. The game is divided into layers; as you eat enough, you dive deeper into the water column to encounter new, sometimes predatory, life forms. The core challenge is to avoid being consumed by larger organisms while strategically navigating to gather nutrients. Early on, focus on consuming the abundant, harmless particles to build size safely. As you progress, remain aware of your surroundings and use evasive movements to outmaneuver predators. The experience is rhythmic and ambient, emphasizing flow-like movement over high-speed action.
