How to play
Karate Blazers is a side-scrolling beat 'em up where your goal is to fight through multiple stages of enemies to defeat the final boss. You control a martial artist who can punch, kick, and perform special attacks. Movement is restricted to left and right, but you can also jump to avoid attacks or strike airborne foes. As you progress, you'll encounter groups of enemies that require strategic positioning and timely attacks to defeat without taking too much damage. Power-ups occasionally appear to restore health or enhance your abilities. In the early stages, focus on learning the attack patterns of basic enemies and mastering your character's move set. During the middle part of the game, you'll face tougher opponents and environmental hazards, so conserving health becomes crucial. In tense moments, such as boss fights, watch for telegraphed attacks and create openings by using jump kicks or combo attacks. The game emphasizes crowd control, so try to avoid being surrounded by backing away and drawing enemies into your attack range.
