How to play
Mahjong Taikai is a digital adaptation of the classic four-player tile-based game. Your objective is to form a winning hand by collecting sets of tiles, which can be sequences of three consecutive numbers in the same suit (chi), three identical tiles (pon), or four identical tiles (kan). You start each round by drawing and discarding tiles, aiming to be the first to complete a valid hand (usually requiring four sets and one pair) and declare "ron" (winning from a discard) or "tsumo" (winning by self-draw). Pay attention to the dora indicator tile, as matching dora tiles increase your score. Beginners should focus on building simple hands like "tanyao" (all simples, no terminals or honors) and avoid discarding tiles that are safe for opponents. The game proceeds through multiple hands, and the player with the highest score at the end wins the match.
