How to play
You control Sir Daniel Fortesque from a third-person perspective, exploring levels filled with zombies, monsters, and environmental puzzles. Your primary objective is to defeat enemies using a variety of melee and ranged weapons you collect, such as swords, a club, and a hand cannon. Health is managed by finding chalices, which are earned by defeating a certain number of enemies in a level, and then collecting the souls they release at a checkpoint. Focus on learning enemy attack patterns and using the appropriate weapon for each situation; the club is slow but powerful against armored foes, while faster weapons are better for swarms. In the early game, prioritize exploration to find Life Bottles for extra health and new weapons. As you progress, the challenge increases with more complex platforming sections and tougher bosses that require precise timing to defeat. During tense moments, keep moving to avoid enemy attacks and use your shield to block projectiles.
