How to play
In Mega Man 3, your goal is to guide Mega Man through eight initial stages, each ending with a Robot Master boss. You start by selecting a stage from the map; defeating a Robot Master grants you their signature weapon, which is often the weakness of another boss. This strategic order is key to making progress easier. During gameplay, you run, jump, and shoot your way through platforming challenges and enemy robots. The Mega Buster is your standard weapon, but using acquired special weapons wisely conserves energy and helps against tougher foes. Early on, focus on learning enemy patterns and mastering the slide move, which lets you dodge attacks and fit through narrow spaces. Mid-game, leverage boss weaknesses and collect energy tanks to heal during difficult sections. In tense moments, such as boss fights or precise platforming sequences, stay patient, watch for tells, and use Proto Man's occasional appearances to your advantage—he may help or challenge you. Your ultimate objective is to clear the fortress stages and confront the true mastermind behind the robot rebellion.
