How to play
Your primary role is that of a deity, issuing commands to your Patapon army by drumming four-button sequences in time with the music. The core commands are 'Pata-Pata-Pata-Pon' to advance, 'Pon-Pon-Pata-Pon' to attack, 'Chaka-Chaka-Pata-Pon' to defend, and 'Don-Chaka-Chaka-Pon' to retreat or use magic. Success depends on maintaining a 'Fever' mode, achieved by executing multiple commands perfectly in a row, which significantly boosts your army's power. Early on, focus on mastering the basic rhythms and keeping your army in Fever mode. As you progress, you'll unlock new unit types like archers, cavalry, and magicians, requiring strategic formation changes mid-battle. The challenge lies in adapting your commands to enemy attack patterns, knowing when to defend and when to press the assault. In tense moments, such as boss fights, precise timing is crucial to dodge powerful attacks and strike during openings.
