How to play
Your goal is to become the Pokémon Champion by defeating the Elite Four and Champion. You'll explore the Unova region, capturing and training Pokémon to build a powerful team. The game begins with choosing your starter Pokémon, after which you'll travel through towns, routes, and dungeons, battling wild Pokémon and other trainers. Focus on building a balanced team with diverse types early on to handle various opponents. As you progress, you'll need to strategically manage your team's levels, movesets, and items to overcome gym leaders and story battles that are significantly more challenging than the original game. In tense moments, pay close attention to type advantages, status effects, and your opponent's potential strategies, as the AI is more aggressive. The expanded Pokédex allows for more team customization, so experiment with different Pokémon to find combinations that work against the tougher trainers and boss fights.
