How to play
The core objective is to clear the screen of colored blobs called Puyos by connecting groups of four or more of the same color. You do this by rotating and dropping pairs of Puyos from the top of the screen. When a group connects, it pops and clears, causing any Puyos above to fall and potentially create chain reactions for massive points. Your main opponent will send nuisance Puyos (garbage) to your screen when they perform chains, so you must build your own large chains quickly to counterattack. A useful beginner strategy is to build a 'staircase' pattern on one side of the screen, which allows a single Puyo to trigger a long chain as it falls. Focus on clearing your own nuisance Puyos early, then transition to setting up multi-chain traps in the middle game. In tense moments, manage your screen space carefully and use Car-Kun's special abilities to disrupt your opponent or clear your own board.
