How to play
The core objective of Puyo Puyo 7 is to outscore your opponent by creating chain reactions. You control a pair of colored Puyos, rotating and dropping them to connect four or more of the same color. When they connect, they pop and disappear. The key to success is planning ahead to set up large chains, where the disappearance of one group causes another group to fall and pop, creating a cascade. A successful chain sends nuisance Puyos to your opponent's screen, obstructing their view and strategy. Beginners should focus on building simple 2-3 chain setups near the bottom of the board. As you improve, learn to build taller, more complex chains that trigger from the top down. During tense moments, watch your opponent's screen to anticipate their attacks and use quick, small chains to counter the garbage they send your way.
