How to play
The objective of Puyo Puyo Sun 64 is to outlast your opponent by clearing Puyos from your own board while disrupting theirs. You control a pair of colored Puyos that fall from the top of the screen. Rotate and position these Puyos so that at least four of the same color connect, causing them to pop and disappear. When you clear multiple groups of Puyos in a single chain reaction, you send a large amount of nuisance Puyos (garbage) to your opponent's board, obstructing their view and strategy. Early on, focus on building simple two or three-chain setups near the bottom of your board to get a feel for the physics. As you progress, learn to create larger, more complex chains that can be triggered by a single Puyo placement. In tense moments, keep a cool head and look for opportunities to clear garbage Puyos sent by your opponent, which can sometimes be used to extend your own chains for a counterattack.
