How to play
In Scribblenauts, your goal is to help the protagonist Maxwell solve various puzzles by summoning objects you type into your magical notebook. Each level presents a specific challenge, such as retrieving a Starite or helping characters, and you must think creatively about what items to create. Use the DS stylus to control Maxwell and interact with the environment, typing nouns into the notebook to spawn objects that can be used, combined, or given to characters. Early on, focus on simple solutions like creating ladders to reach high places or keys to unlock doors. As puzzles become more complex, experiment with adjective modifiers to create specific versions of objects, like a 'giant winged horse' or 'invisible rope'. During tense moments when enemies or obstacles appear, quickly summon protective items or tools to overcome threats. The core challenge is thinking outside the box—sometimes the most unexpected object provides the perfect solution. Pay attention to level themes and character requests for clues about what might work best.
