How to play
Your primary goal is to guide Sonic or Tails through various themed zones, defeating enemies and overcoming platforming challenges to reach the end of each act. As Sonic, you rely on your signature speed and spin dash to plow through foes and navigate loops. As Tails, you can fly for short periods, allowing you to reach higher areas and avoid hazards. Collect rings for protection and extra lives, and search for special stages to acquire the Chaos Emeralds. Each character faces a unique final boss, so mastering their distinct movement is key. In the early game, focus on learning the level layouts and ring locations. As you progress, the challenge increases with more complex enemy patterns and precise platforming. During tense moments, such as boss fights, watch for attack tells and use your character's special ability to create openings.
