How to play
Your goal is to guide Master Higgins through six perilous islands, defeating enemies and avoiding environmental hazards to reach the end of each stage. You move with the D-pad, jump with a button, and can throw axes as your primary attack. Collect fruit scattered throughout the levels to replenish your constantly depleting life meter; if it runs out, you lose a life. Pay close attention to platform layouts and enemy patterns, as precise jumps and well-timed attacks are key to survival. In the early stages, focus on learning the rhythm of enemy movements and mastering the distance of your axe throw. As you progress, the levels become more complex, requiring quick reflexes to navigate disappearing platforms and evade faster foes. During tense moments, prioritize staying alive over collecting every piece of fruit, and try to memorize stage layouts to plan your route efficiently on subsequent attempts.
