How to play
Your goal is to guide Mario through eight worlds, each with four side-scrolling levels, to rescue Princess Toadstool. You move with the D-pad, jump with a button, and can run by holding another. Jump on enemies like Goombas to defeat them, or break bricks and question blocks to collect coins and power-ups. The Super Mushroom makes you big, the Fire Flower lets you shoot fireballs, and the Starman grants temporary invincibility. In early levels, focus on learning enemy patterns and collecting power-ups to survive. Later, you'll face tricky platforming, swimming sections, and castle mazes with firebars and Bowser impostors. Each world ends with a castle where you must either defeat Bowser by hitting an axe to drop him into lava or bypass him. The challenge increases with faster enemies, more complex jumps, and less room for error.
