How to play
In The Magician, your primary goal is to guide the spellcaster safely to the exit portal in each level. Use the keyboard arrow keys or WASD to run and jump across platforms, avoiding spikes, bottomless pits, and other deadly hazards. As you progress, you will unlock various spells that allow you to interact with the environment, such as creating temporary platforms, activating distant switches, or neutralizing traps. Success relies on timing and planning your spells carefully, as your magical energy may be limited or require precise aiming. Observe the layout of each screen before moving, and combine running, jumping, and spellcasting to overcome increasingly complex obstacles. In the later levels, you must react quickly to moving hazards and execute precise platforming sequences to escape.
