How to play
In TMNT - Return of the Shredder, you control one of the four Ninja Turtles, fighting through side-scrolling stages filled with Foot Clan enemies. Your objective is to defeat all enemies in your path and overcome environmental hazards to reach the end of each level. Each turtle has a unique weapon and slightly different attack properties, so experiment to find your favorite. Use basic attacks to clear groups of enemies, and special attacks that consume a small amount of health to deal heavy damage when surrounded. The game features platforming sections where precise jumping is required to avoid pits and obstacles. Boss battles occur at the end of stages, requiring you to learn attack patterns and strike during openings. Focus on crowd control in the early stages, mastering your character's move set. In later, more tense levels, conserve health for boss fights and use special moves strategically to survive overwhelming enemy numbers.
