How to play
Ultimate Sonic is a side-scrolling platformer where you control Sonic the Hedgehog through various levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and rings. Your primary objective is to reach the end of each stage as quickly as possible while collecting rings for extra lives and defeating Dr. Robotnik's badniks. Use the arrow keys to move left and right, with the up arrow allowing Sonic to look upward. The Z key makes Sonic jump, and you can perform a spin dash by holding down and pressing Z to charge up a burst of speed. Rings act as your health - collect as many as possible since getting hit by enemies will cause you to lose all your rings, though you have a brief moment to recollect some of them before they disappear. The game features multiple acts per zone, culminating in a boss battle against Dr. Robotnik at the end of each zone. Focus on maintaining momentum, mastering the spin dash for speed boosts, and learning enemy patterns. In tense moments, prioritize ring collection over risky maneuvers, and during boss fights, study attack patterns before striking.
