How to play
In Virtua Fighter, players select one of eight martial artists to compete in the World Fighting Tournament. The primary objective is to win two out of three rounds by either completely depleting the opponent's health bar or knocking them out of the ring for a Ring Out victory. The control layout consists of a joystick for movement and three buttons: Guard, Punch, and Kick. To succeed, players must master the timing of high, mid, and low attacks while utilizing defensive blocks. Beginners should focus on basic combos, using the Guard button to neutralize incoming strikes, and executing throws to break defensive opponents. Managing ring positioning is crucial, as being trapped near the edge can lead to a sudden Ring Out defeat.
