How to play
Your goal is to guide Wario through numerous side-scrolling levels to find musical keys and treasure chests. Each level is a large, interconnected map with puzzles and enemies. Wario's abilities change based on enemy attacks; for example, being set on fire lets you burn obstacles, while being flattened lets you slip through narrow gaps. You must use these transformations strategically to access new areas. The game is nonlinear, and finding certain treasures will permanently alter the game world, opening up paths in previously visited levels. Focus on exploration and experimentation, as backtracking with new powers is key to progression. In tense moments, carefully observe enemy patterns to trigger the transformation you need without losing health.
