Comment jouer
Your goal is to guide Simon Belmont through six stages of Dracula's castle, defeating monsters and bosses to reach the final confrontation. You move with the D-pad, attack with the whip using the B button, and jump with the A button. Collect hearts by breaking candles to use sub-weapons like the dagger, holy water, or axe, activated with the A and B buttons together. Each stage is a side-scrolling platforming challenge with branching paths, hidden items, and tricky jumps. The key to success is mastering the timing of your whip strikes and jumps, as enemies respawn when you leave the screen. Early on, focus on collecting hearts and finding the stopwatch sub-weapon to freeze enemies during difficult sections. In the middle stages, learn enemy patterns and use the holy water to stun bosses. Tense moments require careful platforming and quick reactions to avoid falling pits and projectile attacks. Defeat the stage boss to progress, and conserve health by avoiding contact damage.
