Your primary goal in Demolition Racer is to finish the race in first place, but simply driving fast isn't enough. You must aggressively target and destroy your opponents' vehicles using a combination of weapons and high-impact collisions. Each successful hit or takedown earns you points and increases your vehicle's damage multiplier, which is crucial for achieving a high overall score. At the start of a race, focus on finding a rhythm between maintaining speed and lining up attacks. Use the early laps to build your multiplier by taking out slower cars. The game features a unique damage system where your own car accumulates damage from crashes. If your vehicle becomes too damaged, it will be eliminated, so you must balance aggression with self-preservation. In tense moments, such as the final lap, prioritize survival if you are in the lead, or go for a desperate, high-risk takedown if you need to catch up. Mastering the tracks to find shortcuts and weapon pickups is key to long-term success.
