Your primary goal is to guide the protagonist and their growing army through a story of war and rebellion. You explore towns and the world map, talk to characters to advance the plot, and recruit over 100 unique characters to join your cause. Combat occurs in two main forms: traditional turn-based party battles where you command up to six characters, and large-scale army battles that play out like a strategic rock-paper-scissors game. In the early game, focus on recruiting characters in each new town and building up your headquarters. As you progress, managing your party's equipment and runes (which grant magical abilities) becomes crucial for surviving tougher encounters. During tense boss fights, carefully manage your party's health and magic points, exploiting enemy weaknesses with the right combination of physical attacks and spells.
