In X-Men, you select one of six playable mutants—Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, or Dazzler—each with unique mutant powers and basic attacks. The core objective is to fight through waves of enemies, including Sentinels and Brotherhood members, to defeat Magneto. Move with the joystick, attack with the primary button, and unleash your character's special mutant attack by pressing both buttons simultaneously, which consumes a portion of your health. Work cooperatively with up to six players to clear stages, using character-specific strengths; for example, Wolverine excels at close-range slashing while Storm can attack from a distance with lightning. In the early stages, focus on learning your character's range and crowd control abilities. As you progress, manage your health carefully, since special attacks are powerful but costly. During tense moments, such as boss fights, coordinate with teammates to trap enemies and avoid environmental hazards. The game is known for its high difficulty, so conserving health and effectively using mutant powers is key to reaching the final confrontation.
