The core objective of Disney-Pixar Toy Story Racer is to finish in first place across a variety of tracks inspired by the movies. You control a character from the Toy Story universe, using the D-pad or analog stick to steer and accelerate. Each character has a unique vehicle and a special ability that can be activated to gain an advantage, such as Buzz Lightyear's rocket boost or Woody's lasso. Collect power-ups scattered around the track to attack rivals with projectiles or create obstacles behind you.
