In this futuristic side-scrolling beat 'em up, you select one of three cybernetic warriors—Makai, Iyo, or Belva—to fight through stages filled with criminal syndicate members. The core objective is to advance through each level by defeating waves of enemies and challenging bosses. Moment-to-moment gameplay focuses on positioning yourself relative to enemies to initiate combos while avoiding being surrounded. You use a primary attack button for basic strikes and a jump button for aerial maneuvers. By pressing both buttons simultaneously, you can execute a powerful crowd-control special move that clears space but consumes a small portion of your health. To master the combat, utilize dashing attacks by double-tapping a direction and pressing attack, or perform grappling throws by walking directly into an enemy. Each character has unique special moves performed with specific directional inputs and the attack button, which are essential for dealing high damage to bosses. During intense moments, focus on managing your energy bar and using the environment to your advantage. Beginners should prioritize clearing the weakest enemies first to avoid being overwhelmed and save their special techniques for when they are cornered or facing a boss's devastating attack patterns.
