During exploration, you move your character on a field map and can interact with townspeople, find items, and enter dungeons. When you encounter enemies, the game shifts to a side-scrolling battle screen where you directly control one character. You can move freely, jump, and execute basic attacks and special Artes by inputting directional commands and the attack button. Managing your HP and TP (used for special skills) is crucial. A useful beginner strategy is to learn the timing of enemy attacks and use defensive moves or sidesteps to avoid damage. In the early game, focus on mastering a few key Artes for your main character. As you progress, managing your party's formation and using healing items or spells effectively during tense boss battles becomes essential for survival.
