Striking enemies in the overworld before combat begins grants a helpful initiative attack when the turn-based battle screen loads. During turn-based battles, timing is everything. Press the corresponding character's button right as your attack connects to deal critical damage, or right before an enemy hits you to dodge or counter-attack. Unleash powerful Bros. Attacks by executing precise button combinations to consume Bros. Points and deal massive damage. Keep a steady supply of healing items and focus on learning enemy attack patterns to survive tough boss encounters.
