In Myst, your objective is to explore the mysterious island and solve environmental puzzles to progress through the story. The game is played from a first-person perspective using a point-and-click interface. You'll navigate by clicking on arrows to move between pre-rendered scenes, examining objects closely by clicking on them, and manipulating mechanisms to unlock new areas.
