In Super Bomberman 2, you control Bomberman from a top-down perspective, navigating grid-based stages. Your primary tool is the bomb, which you place to destroy soft blocks and defeat enemies. The core objective is to clear each stage of all enemies to proceed, while avoiding your own explosions and enemy attacks. Bombs explode in a cross-shaped blast after a short fuse, so timing and positioning are critical. Power-ups found under destroyed blocks enhance your abilities, such as increasing your blast radius, allowing you to lay more bombs at once, or granting you remote detonation control.
