Dragon Fighter is a side-scrolling action platformer where you control a heroic dragon warrior. Your primary objective is to battle through six challenging stages filled with monsters, traps, and environmental hazards to rescue the kidnapped princess. You move with the D-pad, jump with one button, and attack with another. Your character can perform a basic sword slash and collect power-ups that enhance your abilities, including projectile attacks and temporary invincibility. Each stage features platforming sections where precise jumps are essential, followed by boss battles at the end. The game requires careful timing to defeat enemies and avoid environmental dangers like spikes and pits. A key strategy is to memorize enemy patterns and stage layouts, as the challenge increases significantly in later levels. Focus on collecting health-restoring items and power-ups whenever possible to survive the tougher encounters. The final stage culminates in a battle against the evil wizard who captured the princess.
