In NEOGEO CUP '98, your objective is to win soccer matches by scoring more goals than the opposing team. You control a team of players, passing the ball, dribbling past defenders, and taking shots on goal. Use the joystick to move your players and buttons to pass, shoot, or perform a sliding tackle. In tense moments, such as during a counter-attack or in the final minutes, prioritize solid defense and capitalize on any mistakes your opponent makes. Mastering the timing of tackles and the angle of your shots is key to securing victory.
