As Shadow Man, your primary objective is to traverse both the living world and the deadly realm of Deadside to stop the serial killer Legion from unleashing an apocalyptic army. You explore large, interconnected areas from a third-person perspective, collecting dark souls to increase your health and finding voodoo relics to unlock new abilities. Combat involves using an array of supernatural weapons, like the Shadow Gun, to defeat various grotesque enemies. The gameplay loop focuses on exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat.
