Your primary goal is to guide Link on a quest to stop the evil sorcerer Vaati. You explore the overworld and dungeons from a top-down perspective, battling enemies with your sword and shield. The core mechanic is using the Minish Cap to shrink to a miniature size, allowing you to access new areas, talk to tiny Picori people, and solve environmental puzzles that are invisible at normal scale.
