You control Jason in the overhead tank view, navigating maze-like environments, jumping across platforms, and shooting enemies with SOPHIA III's cannon. The core objective is to explore eight underground areas, defeat bosses, and collect upgrades to progress. In the early game, focus on learning the tank's jump physics and destroying blocks to find power-ups like the Hyper Weapon, which increases your firepower. When you exit the tank, the game switches to a side-view perspective where Jason explores tight corridors on foot with a limited-range gun; these sections are more vulnerable but essential for finding keys and vital upgrades. A key strategy is to manage your health carefully in both modes, as damage is persistent. The challenge rhythm involves clearing rooms of enemies, solving simple environmental puzzles to open new paths, and battling large screen-filling bosses at the end of each area. In tense moments, prioritize dodging enemy patterns and using your most powerful weapons sparingly, as some have limited energy.
